Check the 4am cone. Laura has ridden the top line of that cone all day. Red dot is current position.

I'd stay ready, south of Lafayette.

This is what I’ve been seeing all day too. This is why I have been saying Laura is tracking towards the eastern projection. Somehow if you say it’s tracking on the eastern projection you are “wishcasting”.

I will start using wobble more often in my day to day conversations. It is a funny word.

Has LC ever had flooding around the Mall/ by the airport?
This graphic on TWC makes it seem like a large part from the airport to downtown is going to flood with storm surge?
How much flooding did LC see from Rita?

Well if that is accurate and stays that way I don’t like it very much.

This thread has gone to shite and is about useless.
Need to have a thread about the hurricane and not a chat board about e-currency and all the other bullshite.
there are boards and other threads for that.

TWC showed one shaded in area showing storm surge that almost included Rapides parish.

Did I read correctly that Louisiana isn’t opening any shelters due to covid? I’m guessing some Calcasieu residents may not have a place to go??

That’s fricking stupid. Another case of putting people in a more dangerous situation to protect them from something that isn’t that dangerous

You better watch out. You’ll be called a wish caster even though you are simply stating facts. When the actual storm is north of the NHC track and the models but yet the experts are saying it’s moving more westward???WTF

It has been north today but that has a lot to do with the organization process. It hasn't been much and it's still in line to do what's expected. Heights are rising across the eastern gulf, it's going to follow the building ridge.
