I agree with this but I think it has the potential to come more inside Louisiana at the border than currently shown..
It's gone further north than expected recently instead of WNW

What will happen to all the fish in the Sabine River when the hurricane comes through?
Do they survive somehow?

I don't know, man. I'm not friends with ALL of them, just a few...but they have all evacuated to Austin.

For frick’s sake, the most current forecasted track is in the OP. If someone ignores that and “misinterprets” the information reading posts talking about the possibilities, then that’s their problem.

Wishcasting over wobbles. All signs still point to a landfall around the state line give or take 10-15 miles either direction.
When someone suggest a landfall will be east of the current forecast and if you look at the current location of Laura vs where the NHC projected it be at this time 12 hrs ago is simply stating facts, not wishcasting. Levi’s latest video also states this

Thanks for the thoughtful answer to my fish question, jackass.

At some point, doesn’t the NHC start doing updates every 2 hours?
As of now they do a full advisory (new cone and graphics) every 6 hours, and an intermediate advisory with updated position, winds and pressure 3 hours after each full advisory. I could be wrong, but I think they might start doing more frequent advisories as the hurricane nears landfall.

Too much info. My Parents are in Sugar Land, and everyone is playing phone and email tag, try to decide if I should get them and my nephews out of the area.

There wasn't hardly a fish in the spillway for years after Andrew

they'll up the position update advisories to every two hours or even every hour if a major storm is making landfall
but it's only when landfall is imminent
