Problem with the ensemble is that it’s turning north and that NE side is still going to clip SWLA. Just won’t be as bad here

It looks like a good cold front came through. If it wasn't for the clouds moving the wrong direction, wouldn't know the difference without stepping outside.

I'm not really sure it's an issue. The models just slowly move it westward with it maybe not even crossing the Atchafalaya by tomorrow morning. The mid-level reflection is fading fast and probably ends up playing little into the ultimate strength of the ridge.

I would like to thank mr wind shear for taking care of marco for us. I’ve got old trees and high winds make a mess that takes me weeks to clean up. That last TS in November cost me three giant oaks and thousands of dollars in removal

Is that what was the original play to push Laura further west?
That Marco would push into Texas and block a ridge, thus opening up that area for Laura?
With that not happening, ridge builds over Texas and turns Laura more northerly sooner?
