I’ve said it before, the main reason Cantrell got elected is because Charbonnet was gonna kill air bnb. The voters reacted accordingly.

Air BnB has been dead for a while now in NOLA.

Would it be possible for the Saints to play at Tiger Stadium?
No Federal bailout for New Orleans, the city will have to liquidate, time to move on.
No festivals? No good food ? Why have Louisiana?

Cancel the revenue events for the city and complain to Washington that we are in dire financial straits

Still too early to make that declaration. Id be more concerned going to that than a Saints game, but thats just me.

It does depend on when you go, but again, you can limit attendence at both of these events and still not be shoulder to shoulder with people.

The difference for me is, you are outside at jazz fest and can social distance. That can't happen in a stadium with purchased seats.

This is hard for me to say because I’m no fan of JBE, but thank God there is leadership from the state and federal level that keeps morons like latoya (and SWB while we’re at it) from having much real authority during the crisis. They’re only figureheads whenever it comes to serious shite at this time.

I guess all the Cletuses/Cleti of the OT will have to cancel their Essence Fest plans.

If Latoya is able to shut down Saints games, do you think Edwards is going to let LSU games happen? Don’t be foolish. It behooves him to turn the economy to hell in hopes of getting Biden elected. It’s best for him politically/financially.

Elections have consequences.

Last week we had a thread:

"New Orleans is now $150 million in the hole for the year"

... What will it be, by the end of the year?

She wanted headlines and she got them. I bet she sees this as her opportunity to spring board into more national spotlight.

Great plan if this was Katrina. Every state in America needs cash. Money will be anemic compared to Katrina with a lot more strings attached.

New Orleans WILL be Detroit in 5 years. Abandoned hotel projects, bankrupt restaurants, tens of thousands of empty houses and no jobs.
