Saints will uproot and move to another city like St Louis if this happens

Her decision is premature. She should have waited to see where they are in 2-3 months.

NOLA will die without the money from these festivals.

Latoya the Destroyer earns her name.

All the business conferences are now cancelling because of this announcement yesterday. NOTCB is swamped this morning with cancellation requests. Hotels are fricked now.

The NFL and the State won’t allow that to to happen.

And the decision to not allow the Saints to play isn’t hers and will be fought by the legislature. The state and the Saints have a contract.

What NOLA neighborhood do you live in that doesn’t have a ton of AirBNBs?

I dont know about the overall viability of AirBnb in NOLA, but there are always a ton of nice listings in just about every desirable neighborhood in the city.

And if the Saints play in the Dome, all the other events are gonna give her the big ol’ and proceed.

The 2 Air BnBs just on my street both are vacant and have for sale signs in the front yard ever since the new rules about owner occupying and the homestead exemption came into play.

Essence Fest was going to be the biggest, longest Essence Fest ever due to it being the 50th anniversary of Essence Magazine.

The 26th edition of the Essence Fest was set to include two extra days of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary year of Essence magazine, along with the annual evening concert series in the Superdome.

Jumping the gun. No need to rile up the people unnecessarily. This feels like one of those empty threats reminiscent of when JBE threatened to cancel college football.

I’ve always been told was because since racing season begins in mid November or earlier and JF needs 3 weeks to set up and 2/3 to tear down, and several months to repair the track and infield.

No different than Trump going with "This will be over soon" from the start. They have people telling them where their voters stand and they say what they can to appease them.

These videos will be used for future campaign ads.

Jazz fest will tear up the turf course in October if they have it there and it will not be ready in time for November racing thats why i think they had a different place set up to have it in October. Plus horses will be there in September training. No way you can have JF in October at the Fair Grounds it would have to be at another place.

I think they cancel JF for this year just my opinion

They can move it to City Park. They handle Voodoo fest pretty well out there.
Only negative is that if it rains hard, certain parts of City Park are a shitshow with how low it is and how bad it drains.
