this is a very astute observation, it’s in keeping with what I am hearing. Yesterday and last night around Kherson especially is physical proof of this parity. Intercepts are picking up a ton of chatter about crews begging for more food fuel and parts necessary for continuing. Not even China is risking sending MREs that speak to origin. Hearing delays in latest consolidated push from RU are as a direct result of rail line sabotage in Belarus and parts of Russia…Czechs and Slovaks are two of Six that are flooding the theatre with heavy materials. Russians are starting to buck, my guy who I’ve been friends with for a long time is starting to become very circumspect and no longer jokes. He has lost laterals to “suicides” and is worried. Rumour mill is in overdrive with Putin has Parkinson’s/MS/cancer stuff and his paranoia has resulted in his inner circle whittled down to about 5 people, three of which aren’t in Moscow proper. Ukraine has something in the works that people are talking around the edges about. There is a lot of talk about .2, 4.7 kms and how these are going to become extremely important in the next few weeks.

They have captured more Russian tanks, IFVs, and self propelled artillery from the Russians than they have lost in combat. According to open source intel, Ukraine has more tanks than it has at the start of the invasion and it has more tanks than Russia has in Ukraine and in its staging areas inside Russia.

Plus train loads of former Warsaw Pact tanks, IFVs, and other equipment are arriving in western Ukraine daily. Ukraine also has 500,000 new conscripts plus several hundred thousand reservists who are combat veterans rotating back for more training in western Ukraine and those troops are being trained on that western equipment. By the time the Rasputitsa ends those troops will be completing their training. According to internet rumors (so take with a large grain of salt) Poland, Turkey and some other NATO countries have agreed to help Ukraine produce Neptune cruise missiles.

Ukraine’s Air Force has more fighters now than at the start of the war than when the war started too thanks to former Warsaw Pact countries supplying them with spare parts and allowing Ukraine to use their repair facilities. There are rumors that Ukrainian pilots are in the west training on F16s as well as the recently retired USMC F18s. Plus sooner or later the former Warsaw Pact Migs will show up in Ukraine.

Russia has massive reserves of tanks in storage but they are outdated T72s and Russia doesn’t have the ability to modernize them because they were getting the components to modernize their tanks from France and South Korea.

By the time, the Rasputitsa Ukraine will have enough troops to outnumber the Russians in Ukraine by well over 3 to 1, a slight edge in tanks, an advantage in artillery, and the UAF will be replenished. Russia will be running out of its advanced weapons by then and be using its reserves of older Soviet equipment. If Ukraine can hold onto eastern Ukraine until June then the tables will turn because Russia is going to start mobilizing 60,000-100,000 reserves in June but Ukraine will have already mobilized 400,000 reserves who saw combat in the previous 8 years with another 500,000 conscripts completing training this summer.

Tver region in Russia bought 100 000 "patriotic" stickers for 3.8 million rubles and hung them around the city. A month later, looks like corruption took place in this “state procurement” - the stickers turned out to be of such poor quality that they lost their color and turned into Ukraine flags.

I saw a couple of years ago that Taiwan ( a tiny mountainous Island smaller than the state of Maryland) purchased hundreds of Abrams tanks. Taiwan needs mobile & land based anti Air craft & anti ship missiles. Even manpads, but if you need tanks on Taiwan the war is probably close to being over.
