I think it won't take real long before we know which way this is going to go:
1) Russia staged this to build public support for a major escalation against Ukraine.
2) Chechens did it.
Pay close attention to the rhetoric coming from Russia over the next 24 to 48 hours.
If it's #1, short of declaring a new mobilization, not sure what Russia could escalate with short of tactical nukes.
I do find it somewhat coincidental that this is coming on the heels of Ukraine's stepped-up attacks on Russian energy Infrastructure.

Medvedev has been blustering for 2 years now, dude says some crazy shite.
I saw a twitter post about them supposedly finding a suspicious white van parked in the vicinity of the attack that had ukrainian license plates. All the commenters said there is no way that van drove through Moscow without being stopped.
I don't know if the above is true or just more Twitter bullshite, but it certainly supports the false flag narrative.

The US Government needs to release some of the intelligence they had on this. That would undermine Russia's efforts to blame on Ukraine

The Russian military is disproportionately manned with the ethnic minorities of Russia and the semi-autonomous "republics" like Ingushetia (and you can see this easily in photos of their war dead). They have plenty of grievances beyond this war, so don't have any idea how much of it is just opportunism when the Kremlin is so preoccupied or if this is substantially about discontent with the war.
