One that many overlook but should really pay attention to is India. They have built up their forces to a formidable level and would be a serious adversary.
their mountaineer units that fight with sticks, stones, and shields with China up in the mountains are legit hilarious

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is thinking about dismissing the country’s top military officer as part of a broader leadership shakeup, a possibility that has shocked the nation fighting a war to end Russia’s invasion and also worried Ukraine’s Western allies.
Zelenskyy confirmed in an interview with Italian broadcaster RAI TV released late Sunday that he was thinking about removing Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the popular commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces. He said he was contemplating the move to ensure the country remains led by individuals who are “convinced of victory” against Russia.
“A reset, a new beginning is necessary,” Zelenskyy said. The review is “not about a single person but about the direction of the country’s leadership.”
“I’m thinking about this replacement, but you can’t say here we replaced a single person,” Zelenskyy said. “When we talk about this, I mean a replacement of a series of state leaders, not just in a single sector like the military. If we want to win, we must all push in the same direction, convinced of victory. We cannot be discouraged, let our arms fall. We must have the right positive energy.”

It's good to see that people are finally waking up to that fact. It has been clear as the nose on your face for at least a year. Biden and his group of incompetent limp wrists are a disaster. Look at the Afghanistan fiasco.
Ukraine is going to pay a tough price for putting any reliance/trust in that corrupt administration.
Stop trying to backtrack.
US involvement began under Biden, and you supported it more than anyone on this board.
the US began poking Russia in 1997, after James Baker had told Yeltsen around 1992 that NATO would never move one more inch eastward - pretty sure he told Gorbechev too, but Gorbechev has always been a corrupt dick sucking POS, so I don't keep track of everyone Gorbechev has thrown under the bus
you've been told that, and you would not listen, now you've got the nerve to act now, like you weren't then, the little MIC lackey that you are
Stop trying to backtrack

This never happened.

It didn't?
"Washington D.C., December 12, 2017 – U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous “not one inch eastward” assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991, according to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British and French documents posted today by the National Security Archive at George Washington University (LINK

Jesus are we back on this shite again.
Yes, not one inch eastward was TALKED about. They realized it was unenforceable and impractical so they REMOVED it from anything that was actually SIGNED. Can we move on now?

Are you talking about the S-400 which failed to stop western cruise missiles from hitting a shipyard 2 km away from an S-400 battery?
Hey, Turkey decided that getting the S-400 was more valuable than getting the F-35, so there's that, lol.

The US broke a treaty with Russia and people still don't think Putin has the right to fight back smh

Sorry never saw a discussion. Legit question. Why was it unenforceable?

What TREATY did we break? Please provide a direct link.
Do you understand the difference between a conversation and a formal treaty?

Could we please get back to discussing the big Ukraine spring offensive with the Leopards and all that?
Either that or move this thread to the political board.

actually the U.S. began poking Russia in 1947 when we basically told them to eat shite because they’re communist assholes. It was called the Truman Doctrine.
What has followed since then has been a series of Russia and the U.S. poking each other for 70 years.
You should read a history book sometime; some pretty wild stuff in there.

It's a shame Ukraine is struggling with 155mm artillery shell shortages as they're nearing completion of F-16 training.

They aren’t near finishing though. Even the 6 pilots that Ukraine has above everyone as far as being ready will be ready this summer at the earliest. You’ll start to see the 2nd group behind them of about 10 guys is in the UK. Then you have rest in Belgium or Romania. Ukraine is going to be flying just those 6 F-16 pilots for several months alone.

I'm surprised that experienced pilots take that long to adapt to a new aircraft. My father flew so many from the time he was 14 until he retired working to keep Army air from killing itself.
Loved helicopters. I only head him complain about Lancasters because everything was backwards.
