Many of these mayors have never built a thing of/on their own.....their credentials are weak, little or no pedigree and a beyond dismal electorate who have accomplished less than them.

For the last 50 years their votes haven't counted for shite overall unless you count Ray Nagin who understood that rich people had money and they were producers who paid property taxes that supported the underclass.
For the last 30 years or so their choices really were between Central City political organizations or 7th ward organizations. Too many were all about social justice b.s..

That’s a shame and shows no leadership. I have no idea how a successful person white or black who has lived in NewOrleans all their lives can sit back and watch what’s happening. It’s morally bankrupt. Where is the pride? If you really think the city is a lost cause how can you even stay there? This is shameful.

Not only the black citizens but all of us who have loved that city for decades. Some of my fondest memories are New Orleans based.
My last experience was having my wallet stolen after the 2020 NC game on Poydras @ Iberville. I Haven’t felt good about the city since.
