We have always had the potential and just one thing or another has kept us from being a dominant program. Saban showed us it could be done and we have to an extent done it the past 20+ years. Had Saban stayed we'd have likely 10 NC's. If he had stayed in the NFL after leaving us we'd likely have 6-7.

Landry got rid of Tate, Kelly and Woodward. Pretty good moves all. Without that verge and team don't get Kiffin. Just my view.

The word was 2 weeks ago that the announcement would be Monday Dec1st. When 'tis is all over the original info was correct. Saban and Sexton bot advised Lane to take the LSU job. The source was a staffer at Ole Miss.

He wants his cake and eat it too. We all do. Kiffin knows long term LSU is the better place but he hates to breakup with his girl at the holidays(playoffs) as they have been through a lot together. At the end of the day though he's too ambitious to stay with the lesser girl. It's been a good ride but the real prize is in BR and he knows it.

Scott was lazy and hired a lazy coach. It all happened in the shadows. Scott didn’t ask for the help he needed. We have so many football alumni and I don’t think any were consulted. Kelly sounded good but any bit of vetting would have exposed the issues plus the fact he was clueless about the culture in LA or the south in general.
It never felt right and never fit. It’s mostly on Scott and why he’s gone now.

Best stop was 1st. The others moved in, Best Stop is about a mile north of I-10. I don’t think the new comers have hurt Best Stop though.
If you get tired of fighting I-10 take Hwy 190 from Opelousas to BR and stop (don’t speed) through Krotz Springs. Don’s on north side and Kartchners on south side of 190. Kartchners’s stuffed Cornish hens and Pork Chops are out of sight.
