I would try these Roundup gel applicators. It's like a deodorant stick.

I dunno but this Hydretain product is very popular. Especially with lawns with little rain. It supposedly works very well.

I think I'm cutting around 5/8- 3/4 in. or so. Mower is a Cali Trimmer. Celebration Bermuda.

I switched to the Walmart brand fertilizer this year. So far it seems to be working well and looks high quality. Still have a few light spots from adding sand. Trying to level now for a few years and am getting closer.

Take a pic of the wiring diagram, it should be on the inside of the panel you took off. Mine was wired with 2 like this and I removed the smaller one and put a new dual run like in the diagram. Odds are you just need one of the larger ones. Order for $15 or $20 and keep on hand when yours fails.
Kind of a relief. I thought I was having some sort of nervous breakdown.
