Even many of them were saying it was embarrassing. I mean, that seemed like she was legitimately trying to start shite. I can't imagine anyone genuinely calling that thing breathtaking. Well, she is attempting to put the final nail in the coffin, but the destruction has been going on for quite some time. The Landrieus and Morials deserve most of the credit, although Marc did hire Pennington, who was probably the best chief during the last 50+ years.

Someone was telling me something like this. Like stopping gentrification was a top priority for her. To stop gentrification you have to make the questionable areas unwelcome for those who would "gentrify it".
I still eat a lot of lunches in the city but haven't been out there for dinner in a long time. That used to be one of my favorite weekend activities. Trying a new place in the city.
Coming back to a smashed window or having to worry about getting jacked just isn't worth it.
