This case is so stupid. It's mind boggling how many people have free time middle of the day to F around a courthouse. This whole case is centered around I gotta get muh respekt. Nothing else. An idiot went to a track meet to get his respekt and ended up killing someone.

Why should they feel bad? They weren't actually trying to keep him out of jail.
They're just trying to put on a show so they can take the money without too much scrutiny.

Metaphorical race card? Karmelo's family allegedly blames whites for Metcalf getting stabbed and their son's murder conviction. Where is their accountability?
Metaphorical victim card? Karmelo's supporters allegedly claim that their kids are not allowed to defend themselves. What did they teach their children during their formative years?
Texas Penal Code - Penal § 9.31. Self-Defense
(a) Except as provided in Subsection (b), a person is justified in using force against another .....
(b) The use of force against another is not justified:
(4) if the actor provoked the other .....
"Touch Me and Find Out" allegedly provoked a physical altercation. Karmelo allegedly knew he had his knife in his bag to use in self defense.
No one forced Karmelo to remain under the Memorial High School tent. Karmelo chose not to move to another team's tent. Why?
Rain would not have made Karmelo melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. Downpour would not have made Karmelo melt.
