In my opinion, this is a byproduct of our society normalizing having children out of wedlock. Also, couple that with the fact that the mainstream is really pushing hard to make being a single mom a badge of honor and this is what you get
Our society has been slowly withering away morally for a long time, and recently, a lot of those situations are coming to a head
