Seems like I read somewhere that the ticket for no inspection sticker is cheaper than the one for expired

Co worker lives outside lumberton. Said his butt hole puckers up when one of those heaps of junk gets behind him on the highway when he is in his new truck

I got my new truck recently from TX. I haven’t gone and gotten an inspection sticker. If I don’t get one.. they wouldn’t stop me for it right?
Bought mine in Tejas 4 years ago.
Still don’t have an inspection sticker. Even got pulled over for speeding a few months ago and he didn’t say anything.

I'd live in Washington, parts of it at least. Spent about 6 months there in the mid 90s. I enjoyed it.

I got a ticket by LSP going 5 over in between St. Martinville and Breaux Bridge. I know someone at the DA's office so they took care of it for me.

That's wild. My roommate back in college had one that was out of date by 5+ years

When you get an inspection sticker, ask the cop “is this why you became a cop?” It’s theft. I see people everyday rolling around without a fricking license plate and those dipshits never get pulled over.

Inspection stickers are a state ripoff. We don’t have to deal with that bullshite in Colorado.

OP, I’d get a new sticker and then call the number on the ticket to see how to get this corrected.
Any lawyer friends??

I remember that. That is going to be me excuse when I do finally get pulled over for it. I will also tell the officer the same thing I told y’all. They get enough of my money as is. In a polite way though. Got out of a speeding ticket couple months back with a Georgia state trooper doing 85 in a 55. Was polite as I could be and he let me go with a warning.

If you have Texas plates LA police officers can’t do anything even though Texas has brake tags too.
Hell I got pulled over with expired out of state plates once (it was an oversight) and the cop told me there was a seize order on the plates but because they were another state’s property he couldn’t do anything and just gave me the speeding ticket.

I’ve gotten out of a ticket after being pulled over for an expired inspection sticker twice in my life.
First time was 3 months expired when I rolled through a checkpoint outside of Clinton. Cop saw I was about 17 and said get that taken care of. I said yessuh.
Second time several years later was close to a year expired and a lady EBR Sheriff whipped a u turn on me and pulled me over. It was Independence Day and she said she wasn’t going to write me a ticket on Independence Day and to get it taken care of. I said yesmaamuh.

Why should I pay $10 a year to the state of Louisiana for a sticker that proves absolutely nothing, when half the people in this state don’t have insurance?
