Looks pretty good for an old man that somehow lived through a lifetime of obesity.

That’s an elderly Mike Rowe.
Edit: Sofaking2 already spotted it.

Always surprises me when celebrities don’t spend a few minutes to get their suits tailored to fit

I suppose he wanted to lose some weight, but he looks totally unhealthy!
A lot of people who stayed overweight for years like he did and then decide to lose weight usually end up looking a good bit older than their biological age.
This is especially true when they do that at an advanced age when their skin loses its ability to revert back to being tight on their frame after being stretched out for decades.

I suppose he would be dead if he hadn't lost the weight. He looks a lot healthier at 70 plus years old today than he did in the before photo when he was in his late 40's and pushing 400 pounds.

He went from 396 to 198. He is mid 70's so he doesn't look 40 anymore I wonder how tall he is now. Age brings shrinkage on height.

Thin Dan Teague just doesn’t ring the same

He looks like a perfectly healthy man in his mid 70s with a bit of loose skin because he lost a ton of weight. If he had been a normal weight his entire life and then gained to his previous “normal” weight, everyone would be talking about him “blowing up”.

Damned! Dude’s skin is grey. Definitely has some kind of pulmonary issues.

Back in the late ‘90s when Bacchus Bash used to be at Ernst Cafe, a friend worked at Ernst and got a group of us passes to go to the upstairs VIP bar. Goodman was up there and he was drinking heavy, doing shots, etc. I remember being amazed by the amount of alcohol he could put away.

He’s 74, lost 200 lbs, and is out grocery shopping not giving a frick how he looks.
I look like shite when I’m out having just woken up with my hair all over the place and I’m half his age.

He used to come to Hackberry and duck hunt around that same time period, had some guide buddies said he was a wild man

Dude has a very specific & recognizable voice.

He’s one of the few fat funny guys to make it to old age.
I’m sure that fact wasn’t lost on him when he decided to lose the weight.

I don't understand how people get obese to begin with.
That there wasn't a day where they looked in the mirror and said "ok, this is getting ridiculous" and took action.

He looks good. Forget that it’s John Goodman and it’s a normal healthy 74 year old man
