I get where you're coming from, but I do think things like this are what will contribute to ending cancel culture.
If the folks that are always slinging shite have it slung back at them, then hopefully they can be honest with themselves and admit almost everyone has something in their past that comes off as offensive and egregious if presented in a bubble without context.

I think the only way it ends is if someone or multiple people stand up for themselves and don’t back down.
Maybe that happens when someone like you said gets their own shite thrown back at them. Who knows? I’m ready for it to happen already.

You may be right there. I just have a feeling that would fire the opposition up more if they don't bend the knee like everyone else and it would be a full on shite storm.
If folks are forced to realize that they're not immune to these things, I just think they'd be more reluctant to cast stones.

Yes, but a sudden vacation for the whole summer and then some? Usually it's pretty well known ahead of time when shows are going on break, etc. He will be gone through September (which is the beginning of Fall as well). The last time he took a break was in 2017 when his child was having a health battle. And he has been at home with his family for a few months now doing shows. He isn't stupid. He knows the the talk is going to continue to be out there about his blackface character with all of this going on.
