Just to be clear, this is not publicly related to his blackface at all.
He doesn't mention it, does not apologize. He says he's taking summer vacation.
He's still hosting the Emmy Awards on September 20th.

I’m really convinced that beard is a woke facehugger from the Alien franchise. I think Jimmy being funny are directly correlated with that beard and his weight.
It would be funny if Adam set up a trap for Jimmy that shoved cheese whiz down his throat and then he shaved his beard off and Jimmy wakes up from an 8 year coma in black and white Wizard of Oz style.

I agree completely. He is not permanently cancelled. He will be back to melting over Trump soon enough.

Wasn't he the one that hosted Kobe's funeral? 
This is too good. I'm guessing all those prominent AAs at the funeral who were so moved by him crying at the funeral are now changing their tune. But if only they'd have watched TV in the early aughts they would've known this already.
