Is this person I work with stupid?

Here are a few comments from said person:
“Where’s Norway? Is that a place in Europe somewhere? It sounds like one.”
“Do things stay good in the freezer forever?”
“I use my Google Maps app wherever I go; even if it’s just my commute to work. I lived in a town near Atlanta Georgia for 7 years and used my Google Maps everywhere I went everyday.”
“I don’t really care about July 4 much. I’m not that patriotic.”
“Is there going to be a tornado this week?”
(Talking about the possibility of Tropical Storm Bertha coming through. I think hurricane is the term she was looking for.)
“I don’t understand why I have to email transaction confirmations to our customers. It just seems like a waste of my time.”
“ When I want Chinese food, I always go to Shogun’s”.
(Shogun’s is a Japanese restaurant, not Chinese)

In Dallas if you don't put in your commute if you are going more than 5 miles you have a chance of getting stuck in traffic that would take you 20 minutes more than if you would have followed the suggested route on google maps.

A smart person does not ask the question in that manner. A ding bat does.
Obviously, we have no way of knowing whether or not a hurricane will spawn tornadoes in our specific area. However, we do know whether or not a hurricane is coming through our area.
I’ll put you in the ding bat group with her.
