Moved into my new house in October, and the yard has a few spots of dollar weed and clover. Told myself I'd wait til spring to take care of them. Did some research and came out with using this:
Ortho WeedClear Liquid Spray
Applied the Ortho back on Saturday, and it does not seem to be working.
Found this thread - would y'all recommend that I try the Clegg's cocktail this weekend? I'd love to get these knocked out soon so that I can then get my fertilizer down...
South Houston
Main yard is St. Aug with a patch of Zoysia in the side yard
Target weeds are Dollarweeds, Clover, and some Crabgrass interpersed

Looks like you're in S'port. I'm in Houston so I shop in-store all the time. Got mine as an "open box blemished" model for $250 instead of the usual $400. The blem is a couple of knicks in the black finish on the outside of the tube, no functional detriments. Great deals to be had for anyone who has the chance to shop in store at PA.

I have the Raptor and use it as you are intending to. I think it's great, and the adjustable brightness range (11 different brightness levels) covers all light situations you would be shooting in

Diamox?
Came here to recommend this. I take it every time I'm going up in elevation bc I've had some terrible experiences with altitude sickness. Works great

IOW, dont get a creosote treated pole.
definitely not creosote, but some people might be weary of the other treatments as well. personally i wouldn't worry about CCA bc as long as junior doesn't chew on the pole then he'll be fine
re: Kind of a weird ask, but is it possible to get one piling in BR area?

get a wood utility pole
wood or piping, bury it at least 4'-5' with plenty of sack crete all around it
whatever you get, be weary of what the wood was treated with and how the occupants of the treehouse might interact with it

Ratchet Straps
usually $12ish but wait til it goes on sale for $5 or $6. So cheap and easy to use and just toss whenever they rust out, although I've found regular lubrication keeps them going. 400lb working load so it can handle most stuff, but I also keep a legit set of straps for the heavier stuff
Also, check this website before you buy anything from HF

I read the same things recommending the Hitachi. Ended up finding one at a pawn shop, very lightly used, for $40. Great buy

I just did as well. Thanks for the idea :usa:
For anyone else who was wondering like I was:
street legal?
street legal?
quote:
IS ROXOR STREET LEGAL? This is an off-road vehicle only, therefore it is NOT legal for use on any public street or highway. The ROXOR was designed and engineered to comply with off-highway vehicle standards such as those promulgated by ANSI/ROHVA (American National Standards Institute/Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association), the premier member organization charged with setting forth stringent safety rules for vehicles like our ROXOR Side-by-Side. The “off-road only” nature of ROXOR also keeps the price point well below those of street legal SUVs and 4x4s.

It’s a song. Texarkana is not a mile from Louisiana either. It’s about 90 miles. You just got to roll with it.
For a significant part of my life, I misheard the lyrics as "an hour from Texarkana" which could make sense. They should've run with that

I've used coca cola before and was successful. Just pour it on the spots, leave it for a while, then rinse

Same boat for me, used the 28% combo.
Got some interesting intel just now.
My neighbor, who I passed along this deal to, has a friend who works at Academy corporate. She's a buyer for fishing, but she's friend with a buyer in the gun dept. She asked him (gun buyer) about the deal to see if it's legit, he said it is, unfortunate error on their part to allow both coupons, but if the order went through before they blocked the use of both codes, then they will honor it.
Take that for what it's worth.
ETA
Forgot to add: She said both codes are completely legit (20% code was unadvertised, intended for some other promo). The error on Academy's part was allowing people to use both codes at once.
