At first glance that sounds awesome and makes me proud to have served in the Navy but upon reflection Iran's Navy is basically John boats with outboard motors.

It appears the Farsi word for wood is choob. Pronounced maybe more like chub.

No so fast my friend. They have frigates, corvettes and destroyers, albeit several fewer of each class than they had Friday.

She really is. We need to make sure she's forever able to sail with a worked up crew that can keep her safe. She needs to be a once a year working vessel. Sailing is the baseline of Naval knowledge. You get it all better if you understand a sailing vessel first.
