More than likely OP was very turned on by his ex doing this shite behind his back. Once he had his proof she was cheating any normal dude would have shut down his investigation and got rid of her. Instead OP kept tracking her, continued taking time off work to follow her and was filming it. Thats tells me he was way more into it then just just trying to catch.

A good therapist will work tremendously for you. That's what it took for me but it wasn't easy at first. When she said I'm going to teach you to live without her, I didnt understand because I wanted my marriage to work. Neither of us cheated but our marriage wasn't going as planned.
After a 6 months of therapy I never looked back. Im much happier. I'm still broke and in debt, but I don't have to deal with her shite anymore. Luckily I make good money and I'll get out of debt eventually.
Therapy ASAP will change your life for the better.
