Yep. It’s so damn strange. When you bite into their fries it turns into a dust like texture instantly. Like they are somehow not made from an actual potato

Culver's is "midwest good" at best. It wouldn't make it where food is expected to taste good.

It's one of the fastest growing chains in the south. It was voted 2nd in GA behind Five Guys.

It's doing just fine.

what does Oakland even provide for this country

A place for Governor Moonbeam aka Jerry Brown of the nepotism governor Browns to retire to his mansion there up on a hill overlooking the squalor.

They have been getting better, or at least the one by me has. They are starting to cook them longer so they are crispier and not soggy.

I like how they directly blamed crime instead of dancing around the reason.

Well, people have been robbed repeatedly while waiting in their drive thru. I'm certain thats the crime problem they are referring to

Prayers sent for the citizens of Oakland, whose only choices within 200 Ft of that In-N-Out Burger are now Raising Cane's, Chipotle, Subway, Wingstop, Philly's Best Cheesesteak, Dunkin' Donuts and Panda Express.

15 yrs ago I had a cont ed class in downtown Oakland. My first time in Oakland. My first thought was this looks like Beirut.

I tried it once and it was ok but the burger patty was wafer thin.

I like how I got downvoted for this statement.

Yea I used to go here before every Warriors and A’s game. Tailgated Raiders games but sometimes would stop in the way out. I’m pretty liberal but our cities we used to enjoy going to are actually becoming crime ridden shite holes and it fricking sucks. I’m happy to pay the taxes if some actual security was granted, but we’re just ducked on both ends of the spectrum.

Yeah we have a Culver's where I'm at and fair is about best I would rate it. They're better than McDonald's but they aren't anywhere near great

Tell me, without telling me, that you havent spent anytime whatsoever just 30 minutes inland from the CA coastline.. or that you dont know that Orange County CA has been for generations THE reddest county in America.. I worked in CA for several years, and i swear i met more rednecks in CA than i ever met in TX or LA.. most of the baws would drive into work in big duallys, listening to country music.. and on the weekend most would go into the desert to ride dirt bikes- though in fairness, some did go surfing … people who want CA to “fall into the ocean” are clueless morons .. most of CA is not Santa Monica or Hollywood or Venice .. You’re just lazy and you keep falling for the stupid narrative they want you to buy into .

But this is Oakland.

Biden won Orange County in 2020. I'm not saying it isn't conservative for California, but let's not act like it is a rural county in Alabama or Oklahoma either.

This is incorrect.

Most of California is the hyper-progressive areas.

Yes, there are pockets of conservatives, but if the majority of CA wasn’t hyper-progressive, the state legislature wouldn’t be 80% Democrat.

I am old enough to remember when Louisiana- freaking Louisiana - had a Democrat Governor…. Up until , like , a few days ago…. Yeah i know demographics blah bah- but it doesnt change the fact that ur statement - about the majority of a state’s citizens being reflected in its politics - is false .

No offense but, like the immigrants in CA- is English your first language ?

In the guy’s post i quoted, he clearly said “Mexifornia “.. not Northern CA or Southern CA, or Oakland or San Diego.. he was referring to the entire state .. and im just saying that the majority of yall are lazy and follow propaganda and probably havent spent enough time in CA to realize the narrative is false and there are probably 95% good hard working “normal” people as opposed to the ones who get all the headlines .
