If you had a promotion to one of these 3 cities, which would you pick?

Chicago
Dallas
Boston

Considering that you're married and have kids. So no I'm not going to live in a loft in Lincoln Park.

Chicago is my favorite of those cities BY FAR. However, that is for visiting.

I probably couldn't deal with their winters.

So I would choose Dallas.

depends on lots of things. I personally wouldn't want to live in any of those places, but if I did it would probably be chicago.

Which city has the most beneficial market in relation to your company? Or would it really matter?

Id personally pick Dallas unless one city could elevate my position faster.

Is your salary going to be the same regardless of the city you choose?

Boston. Your kid can grow up to be a Redsox fan and be an underachieving janitor who secretly solves complex math problems and resents his savant-like intelligence.

Depends on the pay. If money is no object then Boston all day, then Dallas.

Then a thousand layers of shite

If you're under 30, Chicago is incredible from like April to October. I wouldn't want to live in suburbia there, though.
