Hell no. My childhood wasn’t bad or anything, but I have zero desire to relive it.

I was born in 81 and don't remember too much of the 80's except childhood toys and some good movies.

Early 80s there was no aids in civilization.

It was at the front of everyone's mind. It was a new and mysterious illness that killed you. Rock Hudson had just dies of aids and we were trying to digest that and he was gay....which was shocking to most people back then. Aids was definitely a factor.

I was born in 1978, so all of my memories prior to my teen years fit pretty neatly into the 1980s. It was a great time to be a kid. I vividly remember riding bikes and playing football with other neighborhood kids. I remember playing Atari and the original Nintendo (and the iconic games like Super Mario Bros., Tecmo Bowl, and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out) and going to arcades. I remember watching all the great teen and horror movies of that decade countless times.

I had a good home life and was too young to have had very many real problems, so pretty much everything I remember about the '80s is a fond memory.

The 80's was the shizznit if you were a kid or a teenager. I'd go back if I could re-live it as a kid or teenager.

Watching Stranger Things has me jealous as hell. I didn’t grow up in the 80s per se, born in 88, but I’d totally live in that time forever if I could. No sjw social media bullshite, and No mass group of idiots having a platform via Twitter.

Music and movie industry still relatively untainted and it was still about art. Economy was good. There was still the ability to “go to college, and you will be successful”

Everything just seemed so much less complicated. I’d love to have lived in the 80s over today.

I was 12/13 in 1980 and graduated in '86. Compared to issues you've mentioned today and what I experienced throughout the '80s, I would do it in a heartbeat. Leave all the noise behind.

Like Napoleon said, we had more freedom though, on Saturdays my dad put my brother and I to work while our friends were enjoying their Saturday

We didn't have cable TV so my brother and I were outside most of the day. Except on rainy days we playing games on the Atari.

Was born in 70 so around the same age as the Stranger Things kids. Those kids like me would probably have had fond memories of the 70s.

There was more of a sense of freedom but you did have the fear of the Soviets nuking us at all times. I'd take MAD over terrorists and armed nut cases tho.
