Yeah I had that game. Was good for about 15mins that’s it. Wasn’t anything resembling football.

There are still plenty of toy commercials if you watch the kids channels.

Man, I had that game. I thought it sucked so bad. Some people liked it.

I like Playaction Football it had real names. Tecmo Bowl was the best and then in the 90`s Super Tecmo

I dig the 80s nostalgia, but 80s music (as awesome as it was) was about as far away from “still about art” as imaginable. It was the birth of pop and synth/commercial rock, and it followed two decades of really creative music.

Yes sir! Rode bikes, 80cc motorcycle, played in the woods all day, neighborhood hide and go seek at night, and awesome neighborhood baseball games. My brothers and I had some good times.

There was also a law passed in 85 or 86 that prohibited people under 18 from buying alcohol. If you were under 18, you could get in a bar but you were stamped on the hand so you couldn't buy alcohol. It was generally understood that meant you couldn't drink because if someone over the drinking age bought you alcohol, they could be cited for buying alcohol for someone who wasn't of age. I went from 19 to 28-years-old in the 80s.
