It wasnt in the front of my mind in the early 80s. Groups were being noticed in 80 81, 82 but it wasnt a mainstream issue until a hetero woman got it 83.
Before that transfusions, gays. africa..

College was cheaper, even in relative dollars. But that downturn in the economy locally also highlighted the importance of choosing you career path wisely. I worked with a couple of people in a retail store that had degrees but couldn’t find appropriate work, one guy had a masters in psychology.

Probably not, murder rates hit an all time high in the 80s if I recall correctly. But if I did, I’d buy some land and probably stock in Microsoft and Apple when I could.

I also loved the family sitcoms of the 80s.

The OG John Madden NFL game for NES was legit.

Born in '66, so my high school years were in the '80s. GOAT time period. Even more than wanting to go back myself, I would want my children to be able to grow up in the '80s. Despite all the modern comforts and conveniences, the current era sucks.

There was no John Madden game for the original NES.

Was born in 81 so I experienced a lot of the toys as a little guy which were incredible. I also had some 80s nostalgia watching stranger things last night. It must've been absolutely incredible to be a 10 year old at the dawn of video games. I liked them at showbiz or chuckee cheese but I was too young to really have any ability in playing them. Remember going to fun arcade on vets with my uncle when I'd go to their house but that was late 80s/early 90s. Good times
