Overwhelming nostalgia for me watching that show. I was that exact age - 13 - in 1984. Great, free times riding my bike all over and going to the arcade just like the kids in the show did. Kids sure got out more back then and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I do like the attitudes people had in the 80s better than what we have now to a point.

But damn what would I do without my iPhone.

A lot more bush back then.

Definitely an upgrade in the modern day if you ask me...there were some unruly bushes weren't there?

It would be nice to visit, but I wouldn't want to stay there.

exactly

and exactly

seems a lot of folks like the time when they were kids/teens/young adults, think that has more to do with the age than the era

I am fascinated that Zeppelin and The Who are now old folks music.

I bought my first new vehicle in 1982. It was a pickup. $4995.00. 18% interest on the loan!
No Ac. Vehicles were still being sold without it.

In a heartbeat. Born in 75, the movies and music were so good from the 80’s. I’d love to check it out for my 30’s in a time warp.

'80s was the GOAT music decade but a shite decade overall.

Crime was off the charts in the 80s but it was an awesome decade culturally.

If I could go back in the 80s at my age now with the knowledge of knowing what happens? Hell yeah. I'd be buying all kind of stock.

This. I'ld buy the bleeding frick out of Microsoft when it went public in 1986. I'ld save the money from that and buy the shite out of Apple when the stock tanked in the 90's.

I'ld be retired right now with a different supermodel licking caviar off each testicle and one on the shaft while sitting on my football-stadium-sized yacht out in the Med.

Regan’s 1986 tax ‘reform’ and subsequent oil crash killed the South Louisiana oil economy. Many ouf my friends who graduated college in the 1980’s left Louisiana and never came back.

Don’t think it’s Regan’s fault? Think again. Also, Regan had the most in his office charge or indicted with a crime behind Nixon, and far more than any democrat. trump might break that record. 80’s would have been much better without Ronald Regan.

See this is where you are wrong. Back then, folks would have helped him up non-compliant curbs and steps, and they would habe thought nothing of it, and HE would have not been offended or pitied.

Folks just did for one another. Now all you BASTARDS just suck.

No offense.
