So the virus can easily escape your mask but CO2 can’t? Damn, pick a side and stick with it.

Why is this such a big deal for you pansies? It's a cloth mask, it helps limit the spread of spit flying in the air, that's it.
Frickin babies.

Masks seem to only shorten the distance for coughing, sneezing and heavy breathing which the mask seems to accelerate in all three of those scenarios for myself. Nose breathing seems to be almost as effective as a mask and increased with a mask.. having been recently placed in a compromised health situation, I simply choose to only be around people outside and without a mask with moderate distancing if possible. I try to avoid stores more but not totally.. can’t live in complete fear.

The way I see it is masks have opened up another avenue that we really didn’t have access to before. There are literally tons of butterfaced babes out there with fine bodies. This isn’t the same as just turning out the lights cause we gotta get “to” the room first. Most of the time you talk yourself right out of it before you get there. Now I can even be seen in public with one! As long as it’s one of those wide arse blue masks that covers everything.

See, pablum for the poorly educated: assuming that wearing masks eliminates the airborne vector of transmission. Studies show no such thing in the real world were there is zero homogeneity of proper wear, fitment, and material of masks. Another issue with masks is the potential for re-aerosolization, something documented in military NBC-related testing of various N95 and P100 respirators. Something you are clueless about because you don't do any critical thinking and additional research for yourself.

DO NOT QUESTION THE COVID GOD!
Don't you believe in science? There is no questioning in science. Common sense does not apply to science. Zero responsibilities with it either.
Today science says we have to wear a mask. It doesn't matter that they lied to you earlier and said masks wouldn't help us. Now they're telling the truth! You say you're not coughing or sneezing uncontrollably? So what. Just do what science says today and when they change it tomorrow, don't dare question it because.... SCIENCE ROCKS BABY!

so now tell me what did walking around dizzy headed from breathing my own carbon dioxide really do? not a thing
Well, you are dead wrong when you say "not a thing". They slow the spread. That is a thing. You make a point that it's not worth it, because we'll eventually have to pay the piper. Probably. However, if a vaccine comes out before we hit, say 75% infected, then wearing masks saved lives. Worth it? I don't know, and I said so in the post to which you responded.

Let me get this straight: masks can’t stop germs but you’re getting dizzy headed from the carbon dioxide. Which apparently your mask traps.

I don't think you're wearing the right kind of mask if you're breathing in your own CO2.

If masks are worn properly they can reduce the spread (not eliminate). But, when you wear the same masks without disinfecting it OR wear same one for hours OR wear it below your nose OR on your neck it is not useful.
Most people are not wearing them properly. They are not disinfecting them or disposing of them after use.
It is better to just tell people to wash hands and keep social distancing. Do not go into crowded spaces.

Do you retards not understand that CO2 molecules are orders of magnitude smaller than virus particles? My fiancee keeps a pulse oximeter on her while working in the clinic and knows her sats drop from 98 - 99 to 88 - 92 while wearing a well fitted N95 mask. Some of you seriously didn't get beyond high school science and it shows.

Isn’t it better to wear a mask, AND wash your hand, keep socials distancing and avoid crowded places?
No one is saying the mask is all you need.
The inconvenience to nonstop bitching ratio is just out of this world.
I was At Zuppardos the other day and some red neck with no mask was just coughing into the wind. no one can tell Me that is ok.

Well you were wearing a mask right? Why are you concerned?

If worn properly yes. Like I said. But, all we hear is wear a mask. There needs to be a mandated process to wear a mask if you are going to mandate we wear them.
If you are going to not disinfect or toss it after use. If you are going to touch it all day while moving it below your nose or down to your neck...then don't even bother with it.

I care about people other than myself.
On a normal day, no pandemic, coughing into the wind is fricking inconsiderate.
During a pandemic to specifically not wear a mask and do it is just a complete a-hole move.
