Iraq has better golf courses than Baton Rouge. Per capita the worst golf in the US and it’s not close!

BREC and LSU are completely to blame for this. Dirt cheap prices and tons of courses made golf uninvestable for decades.

Awfully sad. Very understandable how one could drown in a place like that if you’ve spent any time around the Gulf of America.

Exactly. It has been pretty obvious from the comments that black people know very little about water and they just assumed he was murdered by whites.

You can disappear drowning so fast and it has been proven time and again that it is silent. The person drowning very rarely gets to yell for help.
The racism has been as strong as anything I have ever seen with this. Just blatantly racist black people on FB talking about this.

This year it is on track to host 30,000 rounds of golf, the estimated maximum capacity as reported by the National Golf Foundation.

If that is true then they are grossly undercharging for rounds and BREC shouldn't be in golf business for that reason alone. If anything BR residents should get a discount with valid ID.
Better maybe. But not cheaper than City Park LSU Dumas / Clark or Webb.

Heck for years we had so many courses in the area golf could be so cheap and it still wasn’t the golf Mecca.

It was a race to the bottom. Could get a round and lunch for $20 some days.
The millions spent on the lakes plus the golf course is to help a small group of rich people living around that area. If those people want the golf course then they should create a special taxing district to fund it.

I have said forever that if cheap crappy golf got young people into the game then Baton Rouge and LA would be the golf Mecca. For years we had cheap and plentiful golf.

Let’s get rid of ethanol mandates.
Another trend goes away when the ngo money got taken away.
Why would it surprise anyone that the government has technology far advanced beyond what we could comprehend?
NGOs and Medicaid / Medicare fraud are money laundering for democrats.

You’ll probably see a lot less funding for progressive tv shows too and watch them disappear. God help tv if big pharma goes down.

I see no mention of a terrorist state developing nukes. Why?

I am not a fan of the war. But a balanced discussion has to be had. Iran killed their own people who dared to question their state. Funded Terrorism against the West. Were developing nukes.

For people who currently live in and would remain part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, there were concerns about the loss of funding and the damage it could create for their own schools

EBR schools are already at rock bottom.

This was voted down bc democrats are mobilized right now. And they cannot let StG succeed.

St George went from idea to "city" and skipped the whole community step.

Was it not Broome’s idea that it should be a city?
Index Funds while in office. It is pretty simple.

Louisiana and coastal residents put on a master class at fleecing

BP and their intense desire to make it all go away opened the floodgates for the fleecing.

We still have Corn based ethanol. I thought that was the biggest grift in the O&G industry. This will take the cake.
Carbon Capture is the oil industry equivalent to Somali Daycare and home healthcare. Los Angeles Homeless NGOs etc.
