So would it be different if everyone drove the same speed whether its 15 over or 25 over?

If you left on time you wouldn’t need to speed

Yeah we definitely want all the drivers who are trying to text or apply makeup to go even faster.

Just leave on time, lay off the Red Bull and relax dude.

Or just drive the speed limit.

If everyone 15 over, you would be on here demanding that everyone drive 30 over.

Agreed. But let’s start with just staying to the right if not passing.

Every once in a while, I get a little annoyed with someone ‘only’ driving the speed limit,

The people I know that have high blood pressure and are generally agitated in everyday life get VERY annoyed nearly all the time with people driving the speed limit. Even if they are on time and no reason to be in a hurry. Sometimes you have to consider the common denominator.

As more and more EVs come online, the weight of the average car/truck will make injuries at high speed worse.

I just try to stay out of the way and go a steady speed, usually about 10% over the limit.

Tickets are expensive. Accidents are really incidents. People going 100mph on the interstate are nihilist.

Then you would just go faster and complain about the people only going 15 over.

If they lowered the speed limit 15mph and everyone drove 15 over the limit, the world would be a better place to WaydownSouth…while the rest of us would be right where we are now

All they have to do is get over to the right lane if they want to drive the speed limit.

It’s that easy.

If people drove predictably and paid attention, the world would be a better place.

I’m not sure whether the rampaging Altima or the blue hair driving 65 in the left lane is more dangerous/road rage inducing but both are problems.
