Surge should be beginning to pick up there now as winds begin to blow more onshore. Hard to say exactly when peak surge will be, but I imagine in the next 5-6 hours we will see the eyewall and coming onshore.

All summer long I've been throwing flies at cruising snook/tarpon from that pier and south to Gordon's pass. Going to be a while before I'm back out doing that. Glad I left when I did..
