At least the cops released the video with audio instead of doing like LSP and claim it was similar to attorney-client privilege.

No one in the world ever thinks county officials are as important as county officials do.

It wasn’t as bad as you made it out to be. The trooper was explaining how the ticket process works, and he answered, “I know how it works. I run the county.” Definitely a toolish answer, but it wasn’t a “How dare you give me a ticket” answer.

I don’t see what the big deal with that stop was based on that short clip.

He didn’t seem to have an attitude, didn’t argue with the cop, and probably only threw that title out there hoping to catch a break. When he didn’t get the break, he didn’t argue or get belligerent.

Much ado about nothing

I would have said "well, you should have known better, if so."

Everyone considered him the blowhard of the County.

Dumb shite for trying to be a bully on the side of the road.

How does some bureaucrat afford this overpriced crap in the first place is the real question.

And to make it even worse he’s probably some carpetbagger from the economically ruined and plundered rustbelt.

Why? That is actually the correct way to re-enter traffic on the interstate. There was nothing illegal nor dangerous about that…….all that said, guy was a tool.

Correct. That showed no big deal. Further investigation shows he is a huge dickhead, with many bad, illegal acts.

This is why we need term limits on all elected officials at every level.

He’s not a county employee. He is an elected member of the county commission. He appears to be a local businessman of sone sort.

This is absolutely the better news story. Talk about burying the headline.
