As another has said the first step is expungement. From what i understand with Louisiana law we are one of the few states that firearm rights are considered a fundamental right and is restored after a certain time after the completion of sentence so he is probably cleared of that by now.

Talica 50 for swords. We use a sacrificial weight but i get rebar from jobsites and tape a coat hanger to it so it’s basically free. We tried a bunch at first without it and would often end up fishing for an hour with a tangled line

We hand crank because we aren’t OT ballers

Avet makes some good options for conventional reel. Okuma DTR rods are a really good option B&B tackle in belle chase has a great selection too.

I have two different sized kuiu packs and would recommend that brand. They come with a frame so you can pack out. I would recommend the 5500 LT for elk.

You will want to get a Bino harness also.
