A prenatal paternity test was done on the girl and the 15 year old dude is definitely the father of the child. Now the girl's parents is wanting to sue the boy's parents for future child expenses and her friend's parents for negligence. So ok OT lawyers, do they have a case?

No, what is their case? Their daughter is a minor the other kid is a minor ,and they would have to prove that their daughter bears absolutely no responsibility for her actions. So unless the girl was raped or is retarded there is no case here.

They should sue themselves for being shitty parents and raising a slut.

Didn't realize we were still literally slut shaming in 2018. She's 13. She messed up big time but 13 year olds don't understand the significance of most of their actions. I place more blame on her parents not raising her to understand the severity of what she did.

The OP says they are considering suing the parents specifically, not the young man.

i mean at some pint she'll be entitled to child support, but suing them for "future expenses" is not child support

Do these parents not understand these are CHILDREN?

Each parent is 100% responsible for their own child...no ifs ands or buts about it.

The decisions they make in proceeding will either FINALLY set an example to their children what a responsible parent looks like or permanently f^ck them up for life and leave them incapable of becoming responsible, productive, individuals. This idea of suing, trying to blame others for their child's behavior, is the most pathetic thing I've heard in a while.

I'm not normally a supporter of abortion, but that may be something to consider in this case. And then lock the girl up until she turns 18.

Little therapy wouldn’t be a bad idea

What's wrong with slut shaming? And why is the year relevant? Also, it's 2018.

Crazy question: can she receive an abortion without knowing it’s an abortion? Can the girl be clueless think it is just a “doctor visit”?

I say this. If the boy's parents refuse to help financially, then they can frick off if they ever want to see their grandchild.

It's still early in the year dammit. I haven't adjusted! And it's relevant because I didn't think that was something people were doing anymore. And what's wrong with it is people shouldn't be shamed over their sexual habits. She needs to be educated not shamed. That'll only make it worse.
