To be honest, it's better this girl is 13 then 16 or 18 or 20 if the parents are decent. But I guess most kids that get preggo at 13 have shite parents. This 13 year old isn't raising a kid herself, so the parents just adopted a kid for all intents and purposes.

I guess there might be a colorable claim for negligent supervision. Haven't really looked in to how the unclean hands doctrine or contributory negligence doctrines play into that.
There is certainly a legitimate argument that the girl and her parents shouldn't be solely responsible for the care of the child.

You can be shamed for destructive and unwise behavior, even if it doesn't violate any laws. We can't rely on the justice system to enforce good behavior, only to punish that which is directly harmful and damaging - behaviors that do not fall under that umbrella, but are actively harmful in aggregate, must be shamed and ridiculed.

True. Which is unfortunate that some people need this because if the desire to be a good parent was genuine and came from within it would probably be more successful than doing it simply so people won't think poorly of you.
