Fly in rent a car….. fly back out.
Southwest runs planes all day every day from Houston to Nola. Plus it’s taster than a 5hr drive one way.

It will get stolen after someone breaks every window and steals all 4 tires. But don't worry you will be murdered 3 times before that happens so not your problem.

He can likely find a non-stop roundtrip Spirit flight for under 100 dollars. This is clearly the way. OP are you afraid of flying or something?

Whoa....so the crime rate is really dropping now. Good to hear.

Leave the car unlocked and the windows down and you’ll be fine.

I'd just rent a Kia or something and get all of the insurance

You won’t make it out of the vehicle. Just pray he squeezes the trigger correctly and it’s quick and behind the ear.

You're gonna have to elaborate on this. Your friends are too out of control to take Ubers? What exactly are they doing?

Pickup Trucks are a usual target and yours sounds like one they’d likely look at breaking into. If you get insurance on the rental and it’s broken into at least it’s not as bad as having to replace your own window/belongings. Tl;Dr don’t drive your blacked out F150 downtown.
Pickups especially newer ones and jeeps, anything jacked up that looks like a white heterosexual baw woukd be driving is getting windows broke.

Yeah, if your friends are too immature/dumb/can't handle their booze/whatever to take a damn Uber, then you have other things to worry about being with them in NOLA.

They are the type to get drunk and puke in Ubers and cause up charges. One time one puked in an Uber and the Uber driver kicked us out in the middle of no where next to a cow farm.

Drive to the airport and rent an econo box.
Leave your vehicle there.
That’s absolutely what I would do if I had to go to New Orleans or any other crime riddled city.

It is way less headache especially with drunk friends to just rent a car and pay the insurance. Peace of mind plus whatever you rent will likely be easier to park in NOLA than a F150.

So you're planning on driving to NO to be the DD for a bunch of shitheads at a bachelor party? Where you think y'all gonna be driving around in your truck versus taking Ubers or just walking?

I visit a friend who lives uptown on Webster. Very nice area near one of the Mannings. When I visit he tells me to take all valuables out of the truck and leave it unlocked. They may look around in your vehicle but they probably won't break a window.
My friend has been broken into 3 times. He just leaves his truck unlocked.
