Single life around 30.
Got reinvigorated when I had kids at 34.
DINK life was fun for a few years but wasn’t going to be long term for us.

I lost it for a while. But I’ve gotten it back. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Somehow, I don't think most people are going to re-discover their thrill with this.
And that’s the crux.
You’re sitting there saying that 27 is the end.
Dude it’s just the beginning.

If life lost its thrill, it’s 100% a you problem. This world, this life, and everything that goes into it is utterly fascinating. If you can’t find wonder in the little things on earth that’s a choice you actively make each day.

As I get close to 50, I’ve definitely noticed how repetitive a lot of life is. Fewer new people, thoughts, and experiences. Even if the characters and settings are different, I know the storyline. Been thinking I’ll retire to Mexico.

Same brother. The sex is fantastic but eventually you find yourself wanting a woman.

Define thrill. When i was a kid, Opening day of duck season and spring trout fishing was the thrill. When I was in my
Mid 20s skydiving was the thrill. Now at 57, a birdie on the golf course is a thrill. Life doesn’t lose its thrills. You just need to find new ones.

I’ve always been a “the glass a half full” kinda guy. I believe life ebbs and flows and you make the best of it. Maybe I have been lucky or made the right choices. Probably both. I’m in a flow right now and about to turn 58. Life can turn on a dime. If it does for the worst what are gonna do? Is your glass half full or empty?

32 ever since then I’ve welcomed death, this place is terrible. People suck, social media sucks, the whole world has gone to shite.
Wasn’t for my daughter, I’d be blasted in to another dimension like my brother did 25 years ago. He died at 19 and every day I’m starting to think he made right decision.
