Triple overtime loss to Arkansas. 11/23/2007. Side note. LSU overtime loss to TN that was rescheduled due to Katrina. After the game my friend was like “why aren’t you more upset”. I was like “Dude, I just went through a hurricane and it sucked. This just feels like a game to me right now.”
Earthquake Game Oct 8 1988. Day before my birthday. LSU/Auburn. 7-6. Side note. My Dad graduated from LSU in 1958 and he and my Mom attended the LSU/Ole Miss Halloween night Billy Cannon infamous win 1959.
Emerald Lake is great too and less challenging. Do your research.
I am in the Durango area and am frequently. Drove through Pagosa Springs over to Creede today. No issues. Can see a haze in the mountain views and the smoke from fires off to the NW & NE. As far as Estes Park, hike to Sky Pond and thank me later. Did it last year on a torn meniscus. Doing it again in two weeks. Start before or at dawn. You do need a pass to get into the park. If you cannot get it ahead of time you can get it pretty easily the evening before. You just have to go online and be ready to pull the trigger. I think it is 7pm? It is entry time based. They hold a few passes for this purpose.
Twice. Both from eating raw oysters. Did not learn my lesson the 1st time. Definitely did the second. Have not nor ever will eat another raw oyster.
Did not watch this year, but generally follow it every year.
No one mentioned living in more than one place. Most any place is suitable for half or more of a year. My goal is to live in Texas close to an international airport and good healthcare for the cooler/colder months and Colorado for the other. Hunt, fish, travel, spend times with my kids and hopefully one day grandkids.
There is a lot we do not know here but for what it’s worth, I just did a lot of research in order to choose one. I pulled the trigger on Winkbeds. I bought the luxury firm. Been sleeping very comfortably. Good luck!
I have a couple of Sportsman Condos made out of West Point MS. Would buy again.
Metimucil. I don’t feel like getting into my bowel habits here but after knee surgery recently I started taking this to offset constipation. I take it daily now and has been a game changer for me. And I only take about a third of the recommended daily amount.
Baby back ribs smoked on the Weber Kamado, cole slaw, and fried okra.
Working on a pb. 8 years old this month. ‘18 GMC hd. 203k miles. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Plan to drive it as long as the mechanics hold up. Historically, I’ve replaced about every 6-7 years.
Since 8/08 for me. Have no recollection of how I found it. Lurked forever and still rarely post. LA native. Raised in Monroe. Lived in Covington for 4 years ‘03-‘07. Lived all over TX since then. TD has always given me my LA connection. Rant, OT, Outdoor, F&D, and more. Always looking for the next nugget thread. Keep up the good work fellas!
I had knee surgery in October, and it came in handy for a few weeks. Otherwise, would not have a need to use one.
After a ton of research and I finally pulled the trigger on a Weber Kamado. There are many good smokers out there buy I love this thing. I mainly use it for low and slow cooking, and it holds temp very well. Fuel lasts all day if you need it too. Easy to set up to cook and easy to clean.
Cantoni.com-The Wing Bar Stool. We looked all over DFW for months. Found this chair and bought 4 of them. We sit in them every day. Outstanding comfort and durability.
Years ago, when my wife asked to share locations I said hell no. As time has passed I have warmed up to it. I travel by driving alone back and forth from TX to CO and am alone on our property in CO doing all kinds of work. I am 57. Now I want my wife and kids to know where I am. We all use the Find My Phone app for iPhone to share our locations.
New Weber Kamado. First cook today, simple apple smoked chicken. Tomorrow, shredded chuck roast bbq sandwiches, 4th-wife wants pork ribs, Sat-homemade pork italian sausage links on homemade brioche buns.
My favorite from them is the deep space layer stuff. I use the base layer top and bottoms, the gaiter, and the underwear briefs. All great imo. I also have the allclima hunting jacket and pants that I purchased during their annual spring sale a year ago. Overall, I am satisfied with it. Only complaint are the knee pads in the pants. Elk hunting for miles at crazy elevation changes, they began to feel heavy or just bothersome.
