That’s a bit different

Alabama lost by 14 to 5-7 FSU last year.
Ohio State lost by 1 to #1 Texas in Austin.

If a 14 point loss to a 5-7 didn't keep Bama out, then a 1 point loss to #1 Texas shouldn't keep Ohio State out.

In my mind if a girl that used to wear swimsuits marries a guy making $30 Million a year it makes her the lucky one.

Otherwise you can kiss regular season games like Ohio State vs Texas goodbye.
If a 1 point loss on the road vs #1 Texas keeps you out of the CFP then why schedule those games going forward?
Just schedule a nobody in Week 2 like everyone else.

Would be stupid to punish Ohio State for scheduling Texas and losing by 1 in Austin.

This Oho State team is far more talented than Alabama last year.
Of course Alabama getting blown out by Indiana probably won't help the argument for a 3 loss team getting in this year.

They already played #1 Texas in Austin and lost by 1 point.

The next 5 games include @Iowa. @Indiana. @USC, vs. Oregon in Columbus.
Then they also have their rivalry game with Michigan.
If they survive all of that with 1 loss (Plus Texas) they would still have to play in the Big Ten Title Game.

They are almost guaranteed to lose 1 more, and probably 2 more.
So does 3 losses get them in?
Probably considering the CFP success of the Big Ten over the last 3 years.

I think Oregon probably offers the best Bang for the Buck.
They just beat USC on the road by 2 TD's.
