Mark Twain pretty much nailed it (as usual).

27 is about the age most men get married.
Probably just a coincidence

Mid 50's and still enjoying the thrill

Surround yourself with good people and family and have alittle faith and the rest will take care of itself.

How are we defining “thrill”? I feel like that’s highly relevant to this discussion

The thrill of getting home and seeing my kids, cold beers, and having sex with my wife keeps me going.

As a father, I have a hard time seeing it as a possibility.

Wedding

For me life lost its thrill in my late 20's when every girl I dated tried to speed run me into marriage.
I remember thinking "I guess the days of girls just being fun are over".

COVID was fun but when the trumpflation hit and you realize that you’re gonna be poor the rest of your life that’s when things started getting bad

43 and hasn’t yet. As long as my dong works and I can drive fast I think I’ll be good. When either of those go I’m cool with it being over.
