Off the top of my head maybe once as a little kid. I started getting the flu shot every year about 7 years ago. So I’ve maybe had the flu once in my life. Is this pretty common or do y’all get the flu more?

Not voluntarily. I work in healthcare and am forced to get it.

Faked it a couple of times.

Sounds more AIDS related than flu vaccine related.

Three times. Once when I was 18, another time in my late 20's and then for the third time two years ago. I always got a flu shot. I've had pneumonia twice as well.

Damn....think that carona virus is gonna kill me off?

First time was when I was 27, then I got it again 2 years ago when I was 35, so twice. I've got a 3 year old at home with the flu right now, so my chances of getting it a third time are a little elevated at the moment.

I thought I had had the flu before I was 27, then when I got it for real I thought I was going to die

Twice. Once when I was in 8th grade. It was awful. Missed a whole week of school.

Second time was in college and it was pretty mild. Was only sick for 2 days.

I've also had pneumonia twice.

I typically get a fever and sick once a year in spring/early summer.

Not sure if that’s considered full blown flu but it typically passes in 24-48 hrs.

Maybe like 2.

Eta: Flu is damn near hospitalization. You can die from it.
