Probably have had it like 6 or 7 times. Every time I've gotten the shot I've gotten it.

Twice. Diagnosed by swabbing each time. Never had a flu shot.

I've had it at least 4 times in my life. As a matter of fact, I had it last week. After a day and a half I got a prescription for Tamiflu and was on the mend within 24 hours.

3 times,when I was senior in high school,when I was 30 and again whe I was 45.Every time I thought I was going to die.The last time was the worst,took me over a month to feel normal.I have been diligent about taking flu shots since and I haven’t had it again(25 years).

I never got it until post military life. I had the flu shot for 6 years on active duty then the first year out I didn’t get the shot and caught the flu.
Then I got it again about 2 years ago. Both times without the shot.

Had flu a couple times years ago. Got the flu shot ONE TIME year before last AND GOT THE FLU! I'll never have the flu shot again. Might work for some, but the 1 time I got the shot, I got the flu. If my maths still works, that's 100% flu shot bad for me.

Had it for the first time since 2011 a few weeks ago. Was bad for about 3 days then just felt tired for another 5 without any really bad symptoms. Probably would’ve felt better sooner if I was able to sleep more. My 7 year old had it too, so I was his caregiver.
I work in a hospital and get a lot of flu patients up for physical therapy. Three little Petri dishes at home. It was inevitable at some point. I’ve never gotten the shot.

Once when I was like 6 or 7. Still not sure if that’s even what it technically was or not, so the real answer may be 0.
