Why?

That is the point of the athletic anomaly. The 6' 205 athletes are outliers due to their extreme workout schedule and excess muscle mass.
It does not take away from the anomalies within the range though. They show it is possible to maintain the lower end of the range if they weren't working out constantly.

If athletic and moderately muscular (as in ppl can tell you go to gym) I'd say about 20 lbs could be added to each category.

There is like 400 men in the NFL out of a couple hundred million in the country. Their job is to take care of their body and optimize it athletically. The average man doesn't exercise at all, and the ones that do regularly exercise do an hour or so 3-4 days a week.

I’d say track and field athletes, namely sprinters, jumpers, and middle distance are probably the best examples of an all around athletic physique. Football is always gonna be on the extreme heavy end due to the nature of the game.

I'm bordering on obese according to that chart.

Well you can try to find more current data if you would like. I'm not sure why you are trying to argue, just anecdotally go to any store, 34 is going to be the most stocked size. I'm not that worried about it.

According to the infallible chart, you were overweight.
Posted on 8/10/18 at 8:38 am to celltech1981
Im 5’11 170
I must admit when I got up to 185 I felt fat.

I think the second two columns are off by one row.

I'm nitpicking it because it fits my narrative.

5' 10" - 5' 11" ish here and 183lbs. Overweight I guess...

I think 220 would be refreshing considering I was 13 years old last time I weighed that.
That may be the best line I’ve read on here in quite some time.

It was just a question. You don't always have to have a stick up your arse.

"Obese" AF and squat heavy AF. I'm good.
Edit: 5'3" and 200 pounds (up from mid-180's).

5’10” 220. I could lose 20 pounds but I’m not obese. I’ve got tree trunk legs from doing squats.

At the time, I probably hadn't been in a gym other than swimming in a year and a half. Don't claim to be muscular. I run, swim, and cycle so I know what body type that will get me. But it is far from sickly and frail.

This is stupid because it doesn't factor BMI.
