None.

My liberal cuck of a cousin did abandon Catholicism and converted to Judaism for his bride to be. Then she cheated on him and kicked him to the curb a few years later.

None. My mother kept her last name though. It is a lot more unique than my fathers, and cooler frankly.

I used to be in a band with a mentally-unstable dude who took his wife's last name. Her first name was spelled and pronounced the same as his last name except for the first letter (think "Julia Gulia" from The Wedding Singer), so she allegedly asked him to do it.

My fiancé is keeping her name. She's a doctor though

My wife is also a doctor, but she changed her last name but kept her maiden name professionally.

...and I intend to keep it that way. Taking your wife's name is all I need to know about a man to judge him.

did your wife take your last name or keep her maiden

Took mine - wedding wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I know a chick who goes by her first husband's name even though she's remarried. She's a medical doctor with an established practice and wanted to avoid confusion.

I met someone recently that got married about 20 years ago. They combined half of his last name and half of her last name. I thought that was pretty unique considering they did it 20 years ago. I wish I could recall the name because it was actually a pretty cool name.

Two, so far. One guy was the IT guy for the LSU School of Library and Information Science back in the 1990s. He hyphenated when he married.

The other last year. Gen.Z, NOT from New Orleans married a girl with a Cajun French surname and he has taken her name. He's all-in trying to be Mr. New Orleans from northern Alabama.

One guy I went to LSU with hyphenated his last name with his wife's last name. So did his wife.

I know a guy that took his wife's last name. He really is a super nice guy just not what you would consider a manly man.

He is a genius, getting his bachelor's degree from U of Florida at 16, masters at 18. He married way out of his league looks wise, but like I said is smart, witty & has used those attributes to make a ton of money.

His wife's brother died in a car accident about 2 years before they got married. Wife's brother was the only male heir on that side of the family, so the family name died with him. This guy I know has 2 brothers, so his family name had a chance to live on. He decided to take his wife's last name to honor his father-in law & late brother-in-law so their family name could live on through him & his wife's future children.
