No one. And I live in the Bay Area. Who are these trendsetters you “hear” about?

I know only 1 from 30 years ago, because his father-in-law was a politician in metro New Orleans area.

Well, this guy's wife was a royal Head of State.

I seem to have a lot of male ancestors in the Middle Ages that married heiresses and upgraded the family name. Many of them were Crusaders (i.e., Chevaliers Croisés), and I guess they married their fellow, but fallen, comrades' sisters (who became heiresses because all the sons in the family had died in the Crusades).

My wife asked about something like this 15 years ago and I said find you another future husband. She ended up ditching her middle name and changing it to her maiden name.
That's actually the normal way that married women are named.

I know one where they combined and hyphenated their last names.
So last name is like Jackson-Jones
They have been married for 20+ yrs
We still give him shite about it

If I knew any that had I would promptly forget them.

I have never heard of a guy changing his last name for his wife's.
My wife hyphenated her name, however.

To date, she’s kept hers though she said she might eventually change it when we have kids.
We have a 7wk old son now, with my name, but I don’t think it’s in the works for her. Honestly, it’s her decision and I don’t really care whether she changes it or not. Doesn’t make us any less of a family.
You're going to look back one day and realize it was a warning sign.

Any woman who wants that is a cull

None and I don't think I know anyone that would.

Supersaint changed his last name to his wife's.
