Yeeessss.. frickin little bastards are running rampant around my neighborhood ... and traffic laws be damned they don't give a flying frick.. I've almost hit two of the blowing through stop signs..

On top of that they ride them down the walking path behind my house and drive my dog nuts...

Serious want to buy a paintball gun and light the turds up..

Good. This is good. More parents should be sued for having shitty kids.

My town installed flashing yellow left turn lanes a few years ago that caused a lot of wrecks. It can be tough to see oncoming traffic when blocked by vehicles on opposing left turn lanes.

Of course, you still have to yield to the walkers, joggers, bikers on path. It’s nearly impossible to manage all of the above when you add the e-bikes coming so fast out of the wooded bike trails (The Woodlands).

Rarely any helmets worn. Perhaps requiring some sort of license & insurance would help.

The parents are insane.

I know how reckless my son is on a regular bike. fricking Evil Knievel type stuff going on in my backyard with just a pedal bike. Ain't no way I'm letting him on an e-bike. Add in the fact that every other driver is on a cell-phone, and it's a recipe for disaster.

What's the solution?

Make sure you have forward and rearward facing cameras in vehicles.

The Karens are all posting about it on the Nextdoor app.

If they knew about TD, they would probably still post on ND.

But by all means, please keep trying to turn this place into ND. The next step is to let the OT become a lost pet forum.

The scooters are bad, too. I have seen a 12 year old girl zooming down my street and I could easily smoke her backing out of my driveway.

They terrify me when they drive them at night. No lights, just maybe some faint blue led strip a foot long and 6 inches off the ground is all you can see of them. No helmets either.

Some kid in my neighborhood is going to get run over before these parents do something about stopping them riding around like that. I just hope I'm not the one involved in the accident.

a city fairly local to me has started deploying drones that will follow them and report to ground officers where they are and they get arrested. it's been quite the laugh on facebook lately when they post the videos

I saw one recently where the parent of the kid got angry at (and I think was trying to sue) the person who accidentally hit her son when he did the swerve fake out on a moving car. The lack of accountability is amazing.

A few weeks ago, there was a kid on a bike riding the wrong direction towards me on a 4-lane highway and made no effort to get out of the way, so I had to swerve. Buncha idiots looking for attention.
