I'm not sure where along the timeline it happens, but my guess is after SECDEF/SECWAR signs the death warrant, presidential approval is required.

Executions haven't happened for a while for military members, and I think they were pre-UCMJ, so I think it was the senior theater commander for times like WW2. Read about a kid in France during WW2 that was executed for desertion, when he thought he would only get prison time

A lot of weird things with this story:

1. "The Stockbridge City Council voted 3-0 to remove Jayden Williams." A council of 3 people seems very small and could hold too much power.

2. "The city of nearly 30,000 people..." "Williams defeated incumbent Anthony Ford, 2,909 votes to 2,489 votes..." This is the big problem, you only get 17% of the town's population voting, you end up with immature people like this.

3. "Williams had earlier told a local reporter that he didn’t remember whether he had ever exchanged illicit images with THIS YOUNG MAN." :ahh:

there was already talk of getting rid of sycuan pier and expanding the south endzone seating. i wish they would bring the chargers back to san diego, i would actually go to some games. but with them building the apartments on the west side, parking would be a freaking nightmare. love snapdragon nonetheless and will be there tomorrow

same reason i wear my club's jacket during the summer in southern california. it catches any wind and cools down, protects from the sun, and also wicks sweat when needed. long sleeve items during the summer are 9/10 probably fabricated to cool the body

My local city in California paid for an amphitheater to be built, contracted in 2021 for $3.1 million. Update costs are now $7.1 million. For a concrete half dome that will be a homeless hang out within 3 years. Nobody wants to go outside to listen to music, it's too damn hot for that. Somebody pocketed a lot of dollars.

True story, have hung out with the guy that plays Captain Vane a few times and been to his house. Probably one of the coolest people you could ever meet, very chill guy and laid back. Great family and you'd never guess he's a pretty big actor

Chad Bianco is a pretty good guy, runs a fairly tight department, and has a huge support base in his county. Challenging part will be getting state-wide support, but will likely be helped with the various police association's.

They are launching, swinging around the moon, then splashing off SD to be picked up by a Navy ship that can't be named. That's about all I can say. Was done a few years ago with USS PORTLAND, should give you type of ship they're using. Very big deal right now on the SD waterfront and looking forward to doing this.
