Was just in Atlanta and people just left them EVERYWHERE.
In the middle of the sidewalk, in front of stairs, hanging halfway out into the street, etc.
I can’t imagine just leaving something in the middle of the way and just walking away. Just insane.

I've only seen one kid slam into a vehicle. Truck was pulling out into traffic and this kid was hauling arse on the sidewalk and couldn't stop.
I'm surprised I haven't witnessed more accidents to be honest.
Lately I've seen a lot of e-bikes and scooters during peak traffic hours. These people never have any safety equipment on. Sooner or later I'm sure I'll see one of them get splatted.

it ain't here yet but we ordered the Yozma in 10 pro. theoretically i can parental limit the thing so my kid can't go 50mph. TBD. it's a full up dirt bike, just electric drive. should be a lot of fun. decent reviews for the price level.
has an option to order street tires so he's not destroying shite with the knobbies all the time... and destroying the tires.

Only problem I have with them is on Sharp Rd.
I go to work at 5 AM. The electric bikes /scooters are on Sharp Rd. at that time.
There are no shoulders and no sidewalks. The electric bikes riders are always dressed in black like some ninja kamikazes. No reflectors or lights.
Drivers on Sharp Rd. travel at 45 mph. They will get killed , like a pronto
pup from Harry's in Marksville.

I'm looking for one to go ride on the trails on the other side of the levee here on the west side.

Sadly, years ago LSU banned golf carts on campus for gameday for this exact reason. Ebikes are much faster and will likely be at risk for the ban-hammer as well.

It is not just kids. An old Chinese guy darted out in front me yesterday. That dude was moving fast dashing between the sidewalk and street.

Odd that they offer street tires but also have an “Important Notice” where they state:

But they're definitely an issue in Mount Pleasant. I had a couple coming straight at me at dusk one time out on Pitt St Bridge. He veered off about 25 feet before me but still would've been a bad encounter for me as they were hauling.

There are different types of e-bikes. You have your full suspension e-bikes ( mountain bikes ) and then the dirtbike ones. Dirt bike ones should have to be registered and insured with a valid drivers license. The mountain bikes should be fine as is. It’s nice going to NWA and using e bikes to trail ride.
