They have a location near my office. Any time they have a price similar to Amazon, I just buy at Best Buy for pickup to support the local storefront. It’s also nice to be able to walk in for quick items or to view things in person. Also I have more confidence than Amazon in item quality.

Overpriced? It’s cheaper than Walmart and Amazon for the laptop and TV I bought.

I love Best Buy. One of the few places left where you can actually put hands on electronics. They'll price match anyone and you can get it right now and not have to worry about getting some knock off from Amazon. I do ship to store pickup pretty regular with them.

Do they still do car speaker installs? I learned how to do that when I was in my 20's but I'm middle aged and lazy now.

This is literally impossible, they price match just about any legitimate source.

great deals on floor model, return, scratch n dent.

Open box return and a floor model for my office and outdoor kitchen tv's. I bought one of them on black Friday for an even bigger discount. Both Samsung smart tvs for maybe 25% of their original price. Good deals.

Don’t expect to go into a store and find a receiver or amp you want. They have 1 or 2 Denons, Yammys and Sonys. No speakers.

One of the few stores these days where the employees generally know what they’re talking about

I think that is generally a true statement, but when I’m in there it is because I need a very random network thing that I have to have on the fly. I’ve already used your app/website to find out if it’s in stock.

As arrogant as this sounds, I often feel:

please just get me the thing I need. I don’t need your recommendations.

ETA: I work in networking and Cybersecurity with multiple certs in Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Microsoft. I simply need you to get me my thing I’ve already researched.

I'm in the market for a 65" TV. Went to bb online and narrowed my choices to 4 different TVs. Sometime in the next week I'm going into the store and compare the TVs on my list. I'll probably narrow down to two unless a single one stands out. Next I'll compare prices against internet and Costco, if they sell my selection.

If bb can be within 5-10% I'll probably go with them provided I have the option to return the set to the store.

And I'll probably walk out with some overpriced smack every time I visit.

I prefer bestbuy over Amazon for somethings. I bought a ton of appliances and TV's for our house we built.

I only noticed the officers sitting by the door after 2020, at least in the Atlanta area.
